PURPOSE:To enable to easily cope with an operating condition even when a type moving body is moved at high speed, by so controlling that an output from a printable character information holding part and an output from a printing information holding part are compared with each other, and a printing hammer is excited when the two outputs accord with each other. CONSTITUTION:In a controlling table 2, magnet set addresses are written on page 1 and page 2, for example, and printable information for each printing hammer is written. In an address register 3, addresses for making access to a printing data memory 4 are set. In the printing data memory 4, printing information indicating characters to be printed for at least the entire digit places in one line is set. A comparator 5 checks whether or not a character code outputted from the memory 4 and that outputted from a code memory 8 accord with each other, and when the codes accord with each other, the comparator 5 outputs a set signal for exciting a corresponding one of the hammers. |
