PURPOSE:To employ a common transmission control procedure for respective stations and to reduce the load on a transmission control program by arraying pieces of address information on an intra-office and an opposite office, transmission control information, data to be transmitted, and error detection information in a frame as unit transmit information. CONSTITUTION:An office A1 transmits the frame which includes the address of the intra-office A1, address of the opposite office A2, and control code of a circuit connection request (JOIN) to a transmission controller B according to its transmission control program to make a circuit connection between the offices A1 and A2, and the address of the intra-office A1, address of the opposite office A2, and control code of message transmission (XMIT) are set in a transmitting buffer to form a frame, sending a message to the transmission controller B. The office A2 receives said frame and passes data in the information field IF in the frame to an application program. Then, when there is no data to be transmitted to the office A2, the office A1 transmits the frame which includes the address of the intra-office A1, address of the office A2, and control code of circuit disconnection (TERM) to the transmission controller B, disconnecting the circuit. |
