PURPOSE:To decrease the weight of a rotor and promote its cost down, by forming inner and outer rotors, which have one tooth difference between their number of gear teeth, and directly coupling the inner rotor to the crankshaft in an internal-combustion engine. CONSTITUTION:An outer rotor 3 and an inner rotor 4 having one tooth difference between their number of gear teeth are formed, and the inner rotor 4 is directly coupled to a crankshaft or a transmission main shaft in an internal- combustion engine. In this way, the rotors can be formed in a trochoid rotor, in which any necessity for providing a crescent is eliminated, thus the weight of the rotor can be decreased. While the rotor, whose gear shape can be mathematically accurately expressed, can be manufactured at a low cost. |
