PURPOSE:To obtain soil specimen in nearly natural state by providing a pressure sensor to the upper part of the outer cylinder of a soil sampler consisting of a transparent column having a cutting blade on its tip and an outer cylinder with an observation hole. CONSTITUTION:A soil sampler 4 consists of a transparent column 10 having a cutting blade 11 on its tip and an outer cylinder 9 with an observation hole. The cutting blade 11 is projected from the outer cylinder 9, and the column 10 is fixed to the outer cylinder 9. Excavation is made in the surrounding soil of a soil sampling place in such a way that a soil sampling place is left in a conical trapezoidal form. The soil sampler 4 is set on the upside of the soil sampling place of a conical trapezoidal form and pushed into the soil sampling place by a power shovel, etc., for sampling soil. A pressure sensor is provided to the upper part of the outer cylinder 9 to adjust the pressing force of the soil sampler in order to obtain soil specimen in natural state. |
