PURPOSE:To improve both the production and input of programs by displaying in turn plural instruction words of a program language in a prescribed order and storing the designated one of these instruction words to a memory in the form of a program. CONSTITUTION:The keys 24a and 24b of the 1st operation part function execute action to display the mnemonic codes and data displayed at a display device 22 in turn every instruction word. When an optional mnemonic code is selected and displayed, a key 24c of the 2nd operation part is pushed. Then a machine word corresponding to the selected mnemonic code is stored in an RAM16. If an input instruction contains 2 words with data, the keys 24a and 24b are changed automatically to a mode where the data displayed at a data display part 22b is selected.
