<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a temp. detecting device which is electrically safe by providing an optical fiber of which the transmissivity of light decreases with an increase in temp. and a photodetector. CONSTITUTION:The resin of polystyrene, polymethyl methacrylate series etc., which is added with a trace amt. of a thermochromic substance such as imidazolines, spiro-pyrans, and others,or a transparent base material such as glass, resins etc. is used as a core material. And an optical fiber of which the transmissivity of light decreases with an increase in temp. and a photodetector are combined to obtain the temp. detecting device which is electrically safe.</p> |
