PURPOSE:To attenuate noises generated by impingement between a movable iron core and a core receiver, by providing a vibration damper between a yoke and a coil. CONSTITUTION:A solenoid is provided with a vibration damper 10 between the inner face of a first yoke 2 and a coil 5. For example, after this vibration damper is inserted between the coil 5 and the first yoke 2, the first and second yokes 2 and 3 are caulked so as to form a solenoid. In such a manner, even when the noises generated by the impingement between a movable iron core 1 and a core receiver 4 is transmitted to the first yoke 2, the first yoke is effectively prevented from vibration by the vibration damper 10. Accordingly, the impingement noises can be prevented from amplifying, and as a result, undesired noises generated by sound equipments or the like can be attenuated. |
