The invention relates to a device for transferring baked goods arriving on an oven belt in rows, preferably flat baked goods that keep, into a conveyor arranged downstream with a number of connecting channels which correspond to the rows, to form stacks. The aim of the invention is to reduce the susceptibility to malfunction during feeding by precise detection of the positions of the baked goods arriving on the oven belt. The object of the invention is to detect the relative positions of two adjacent edges, using only one scanning device, in such a way that the measured value determined can be utilised to control the guiding device. This is achieved according to the invention by arranging guiding devices downstream of the oven belt, which guiding devices lead to collecting channels and are connected to a regulating device via an adjusting element, which regulating device consists of an optical line sensor which measures the position of the gap, an incremental pick-up which detects the position of the guiding device and an electronic processing unit which processes the signals. <IMAGE>
