PURPOSE:To make it possible for a gas dissolved in an oil inside a projecting section to permeate speedily through a gas-permeable membrane, and thus to enable the accurate and speedy detection of the gas, by a construction wherein an agitating device driven by an oil flow running through the casing of a transformer is provided in the internal chamber of the projecting section. CONSTITUTION:An insulation oil inside the casing 1 of a transformer is made to flow vertically in the vicinity of the inner wall of the casing 1 by convection or forced circulation, and an impeller 8 is rotated by the oil flow. This rotation is transmitted to a shaft 10 through the intermediary of the shaft 11 of the impeller 8 and a gear device 12 to rotate an agitating impeller 9. The oil 7 inside a projecting section 2 is made to flow by the rotation of said agitating impeller 9, and thereby it is kept constantly in the same quality with the insulation oil 6 in the casing 1. In addition, an oil contacting with a gas-permeable membrane 3 in the end opening of the projecting section 2 also flows constantly, and a gas dissolved in this oil permeates speedily through the membrane until the concentration of the gas dissolved in the oil in the projecting section 2 comes to a balance with the density of the gas in a detecting vessel 4. |
