PURPOSE:To improve power generating efficiency by setting a control valve in an inlet side piping line of a cooler and making larger twice or more a diameter of outlet side piping line of the cooler than that of the inlet side piping line. CONSTITUTION:A control valve 7a is mounted in an inlet side piping line 17 of a cooler 6. Inner diameter of each of an outlet side header 16 and an outlet side piping line 18 which are led from the cooler 6 to a steam separator 8 is made larger twice or more than that of each of the inlet side piping line 17 and an inlet side header 15 which are led from the control valve 7a to the cooler 6. Thereby, when outlet pressure of the control valve 7a, that is, the discharge pressure of a cooling water circulating pump is made high and cooling water having saturated vapor pressure is supplied to the inlet of the cooler 6, the cooling water supplied in the cooler 6 is heated and its temperature is increased to saturated temperature or more, and part of cooling water is vaporized. However, since the inner diameter of the outlet side header 16 and the outlet side piping line 18 is made larger, a fuel cell is cooled without increasing in pressure of the fuel cell 1. |
