PURPOSE:To simplify a shutter mechanism and to facilitate exposure control which is performed by inputting and switching film sensitivity by storing a storage means with the relation between a shutter opening and a time, adding film sensitivity information on the basis of the photometric value of a photometric means, and selecting the time when the shutter is opened for proper exposure. CONSTITUTION:The photometric means 1 detects subject brightness by a photodetecting element and outputs brightness information to a control means 2. An information means 3 outputs information on film sensitivity, etc., to the control means 2. The storage means 4 stores shutter opening characteristics. The control means 2 selects a shutter time necessary for proper exposure to a film in the storage means and performs selective arithmetic on the basis of values of the photometric means 2 and information means 3 to decide on the time. Thus, the shutter time is stored in the control means 2 temporarily and when exposure control is performed later, the shutter part 5 is controlled on the basis of the stored value to perform photography.
