PURPOSE:To simplify the clamp structure in a case, by attracting a magnetic piece by the magnet outside the case and holding a wt. through a shaft. CONSTITUTION:A base frame 4, a chord 2, a wt. 5 and a magnet 6 are received in the case 3 of a gravimeter. The chord 2 is connected to the leading end part of a cross beam 4e and the lower end thereof pierces the horizontal part of a lower base frame 4c to be connected to the wt. 5. The magnet 6 is arranged on a frame 6c and the chord 2 pierces through the magnetic field of the magnet 6. When the wt. 5 is fixed, the case 3 is inverted. Because a magnet 11 attracts a magnetic piece 8 in this state, a shaft 10 is pulled upwardly and the wt. 5 is pressed to a stopper 12 by a piece 9 and held by grasping force.
