PURPOSE:To reduce noise and increase the efficiency of the titled air conditioner by providing an outdoor side heat exchanger in opposite to the back surface of the main body of the air conditioner and a suction port provided an outdoor wall, and forming a ventillation circuit in which air flows from the suction port and the back surface of the flow-off port by means of an outdoor fan. CONSTITUTION:When a fan motor 30 of the air conditioner 1 is dirven, air which has been sucked up through suction ports 15, 16 and 17 of an outer box 3 passes through a condenser 26 at a substantially uniform air flow rate, and passing through the air guide 31 by a propeller fan 28 and being blown off through blow-off ports 20, 18 and 19. This is because the depth d1 of fins 102 at parts where air along the left surface 10 and the right surface 11 is difficult to be sucked up is set to be smaller than the depth d2 of the fins 102 at parts where air along the back surface 9 is easily sucked up. Further, air which has been sucked up through the suction port 6 of the front grill 2 passes through an evaporator 36, passing through a suction port 53 and being transmitted to a duct 56 by a sirocco fan 51, thus being delivered into the room through a blow-off port 7. Since air passing through the condenser 26 flows uniformly, noise is reduced and the heat exchanger performance in improved. |
