PURPOSE:To improve performance by loading a motor onto a bed which can be slided in the direction of the axis of a grindstone with respect to a frame body and transmitting the output of the motor onto an adjusting abrasive wheel. CONSTITUTION:A grade 25 for loading a work in the vicinity of the first rotatable abrasive wheel 23 is installed onto a frame body 22, and the captioned grinder is constituted of the second abrasive wheel 26 for grinding the work in cooperation with and opposed to the first abrasive wheel and a transmission mechanism 29 for transmitting the output of a motor 28 loaded onto a bed 27 which can be slided in the direction of the shaft of the first grindstone with respect to the frame body 22, and the transmission mechanism for the transmission to the adjusting abrasive wheel as the second abrasive wheel is made simple, and the generation of slack and tension of a chain is prevented even on adjusting feed angle or horizontal angle, and the performance can be improved.
