摘要 PURPOSE:To shorten a wire stranding time by finding an allowable number of revolutions corresponding to the weight of a supply bobbin and a winding drum varying according to the progress of wire stranding work and by controlling the number of revolutions so as to make it to a lower allowable number of revolutions. CONSTITUTION:An element wire 11 drawn out of rotary type supply bobbins 1a-1d is collected and stranded, and a cable 12 is made. When it is rolled by a winding drum 8 a probe 13 is brought into contact with the element wire 11 of the bobbin 1a and the surface of the cable 12 of the drum 8. A variable probe of a rotary type variable resistor 14 is engaged with the probe 13 and the displacement due to the variation of the element wire 11 and cable 12 is transduced into an electrical signal which is inputted to a regulating part 17 for controlling a roll diameter - weight conversion via a slip ring 15 and a brush 16. Since the rolling diameters of the wire material 11 and cable 12 and their weights are equivalent, a corresponding allowable number of revolutions is calculated by finding the weight at the regulating part 17 and is inputted to a speed variable motor controlling part 18. The controlling part 18 compares both allowable numbers of revolutions and controls the number of revolutions of a motor M so as to be driven in a lower allowable number of revolutions.
