PURPOSE:To give surely a proper axial force to a material and to raise a correction effect by detecting the axial force generated among each group and by regulating rolling reduction of a leveller or the peripheral speed of a roll or the both so that the detected value can make the prescribed axial force. CONSTITUTION:The surveyed value detected by a load cell 10 during a levelling is inputted to a comparative arithmetic unit 11 and the difference with the proper value inputted in advance with an setting device 12 is calculated. The value thereof is inputted to a controlling unit 13 and the rolling reduction of a levellers A, B or the peripheral speed of a roll or the both are regulated so that the axial force detected by the load cell 10 can make the prescribed value. Consequently the axial force according to the material to be straightened is surely given always, the overload of a leveller is prevented and a big shape correction effect is obtd. |
