PURPOSE:To hold securely the contents of each sentence and to improve retrieval efficiency by collating information for retrieval which consists of structure information and element information on a sentence obtained by analyzing a retrieval inquiry sentence with information for retrieval obtained similarly from an identification sentence registered in a data base. CONSTITUTION:The identification sentence 1a supplied to an object 5 to be registered is inputted to a sentence analyzing means 3 through an input means 2, and information for retrieval obtained by analyzing the input sentence into structure information, keywords as element information, and connection phrases between keywords, and the object 5 are registered in the data base 8 in the form of a registered body 9a and information 9b for retrieval on the registered body 9a by using a registering means 6. When the data base 8 is retrieved with the retrieval inquiry sentence 1b, the information 9b for retrieval is collated by a retrieving means 7 with similarly obtained information 4 for retrieval on the inquiry sentence 1b. At this time, coincidences of not only keywords, but also connection phrases and modification relations are collated to perform retrieval efficiently. |
