PURPOSE:To improve the operationability of cable type transmission changer by fixing two cables to the opposite ends of a coupling arm having central section bonded with the lower end of change lever while employing biaxial combination shift pattern. CONSTITUTION:In a transmission changer where speed change operation of speed change gear is performed through two cables 1, 2, outer shaft (not shown), etc., the other ends of said cables 1, 2 are coupled through spherical couplings 4, 5 to the opposite ends of coupling arm 3 at the operating side. The change lever 9 is supported by a spherical coupling 10 at the intermediate section while tiltably back/fro and left/right to insert the spherical section 9c formed through tapered section 9b at the lower end into the engaging section 11 provided in the central section of the coupling arm 3. The engaging section 11 is fitted in a hole 11a of stay 12 integral with a boss 13 inserted slidably and rotatably over the guide shaft 14. |
