PURPOSE:To reduce temperature rise and stray capacity by accommodating two auxiliary members provided with grooves for stopping winding by engaging in a groove of a core and making double layer construction by winding horizon tal deflection coil and vertical deflection coil on the members respectively. CONSTITUTION:Auxiliary members 5 made of magnetic material provided with grooves 8, 8' for stopping winding by engaging or non-magnetic material are accommodated between respective projections 4 of a slot core 3 providing projections on an inner face of a core, and horizontal deflection coil 1 and vertical deflection coil 2 are wound on the members so as to become double layer construction, and a deflection coil to be used by being mounted on a cathode ray tube is constructed. Then, heat generation due to increase of surface effect of the deflection coil accompanying high speed deflection peculiar to highly fine display and increase of copper loss by large current drive can be discharged effectively from notches 6 and heat discharging grooves 7 provided on the auxiliary members 5, and resonance between the deflection coils is reduced to prevent generation of ringing. |
