PURPOSE:To make illegible the image of an electrophotographic copy obtainable from a diazo copy by incorporating a dye of the hue different from the hue of the azo dye formed from the diazo compd. and coupler in a photosensitive layer into said layer and specifying the reflection density of the photosensitive layer at a specific value. CONSTITUTION:The dye of pigment of the hue different from the hue of the azo dye formed by the reaction of diazo compd. and coupler is further incorporated into the photosensitive layer which contains the diazo compd. and coupler and is provided on a substrate. The reflection density of the photosensitive layer is made >=0.35 the value measured in the ground texture part after exposing and developing. A green or red dye is generally preferable for the blue azo dye as the dye or pigment to be used in the photosensitive layer. The reflection density of the ground texture part of the photosensitive layer after the development is made >=0.35, by which the recopy obtd. by electrophotographic copying from the resultant diazo copy as an original is not discriminatable of the image part and the ground texture part and makes illegible the original image. The plagiarism from the diazo copy is thus prevented. |
