PURPOSE:To prevent a toner from sticking to a non-image part, and to obtain an image whose surface is scarcely contaminated, by placing a magnetic pole of a magnet roll in a sleeve, so that a line of magnetic force in a developing part becomes roughly parallel to a tangent line of the peripheral surface of the sleeve. CONSTITUTION:A sleeve 2 made of non-magnetic stainless steel rotates at a prescribed speed, and a magnet roll 3 is fixed in the sleeve 2. A one component insulating magnetic toner 1 which has been stored in a housing 8 is adsorbed magnetically to the peripheral surface of the sleeve 2 by a magnetic force of the magnet roll 3, and also carried to a developing part A in accordance with a rotation of the sleeve 2. A line of magnetic force made by a magnetic pole of the magnet roll 3 is roughly parallel to a tangent line of the peripheral surface of the sleeve 2, and the magnetic toner forms a layer along the peripheral surface of the sleeve 2, and passes through the developing part A. |
