PURPOSE:To realize a small-sized and low-cost frame converting circuit by using a signal selection circuit to replace a channel corresponding address signal and a frame corresponding address signal depending on write/read of a storage circuit and reading an output digital signal from the storage circuit. CONSTITUTION:An input digital signal 10 of frame constitution is written on a storage circuit 101 in the unit of 2 frames each. Further, address signals WA2 and WA4 of high-order digit given sequentially to a frame corresponding address terminal Z from the least significant digit WA2 of an address signal and not given to the frame corresponding address terminal Z are outputted from an m-notation period counter 107 in the order of digits from the low-order digit, and the signal read is executed from the storage circuit 101 to attain frame conversion in the state that the signal is given sequentially from the low-order digit of the channel corresponding address terminal corresponding to the digit order of the address signal given to a channel corresponding address terminal Y. |
