PURPOSE:To allow the titled transmitter to cope with multiplex transmission of one master station versus multi-slave stations with simple constitution by using setting and update function of an address code in common for an integrated circuit for the master station and setting properly the number of slave stations so as to eliminate the need for a counter circuit. CONSTITUTION:An address code corresponding to '1' is set by an address setting section 32 of a master station integrated circuit ICM, the inputted signal is coded serially by an encoder 25 and sent by a transmission section 33. Then the code is received by the 1st slave station integrated circuit ICS1 of a remote controller 10, and each control signal inputted to the 1st slave station integrated circuit ICS1 is coded serially and then sent. The code is recieved by a master station integrated circuit ICM and an indoor control circuit activates and controls a required device. In this case, a reception end signal is generated, the address setting section 32 of the master station integrated circuit ICM is incremented by one and an address code corresponding to '2' is set.
