PURPOSE:To provide the titled restoration material containing Ca salt of a phosphoric acid, collagen and a protein-fixing agent, having high affinity to hard human tissue, giving no immunological effect to living body, promoting the formation of new hard tissue and fixable firmly to living tissue. CONSTITUTION:The titled restoration material contains (A) 20-98wt% Ca salt of a phosphoric acid, (B) 2-50% collagen and (C) 0.2-20% protein fixing agent. When the restoration material is applied to the defective part of tooth, etc., the calcification of the Ca phosphate takes place around collagen nucleus to form a new tissue integrated with a living tissue and a restored tissue bonded firmly to the both is obtained. The collagen is biochemically sabilized with the protein-fixing agent to attain a restored tissue having excellent water resistance and heat resistance. The component A is e.g. apatite, the component B is e.g. acid-soluble collagen and the component C is e.g. glutaraldehyde. |
