PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of the titled device, to simplify the constitution and to attain high-speed and high-density recording by selecting the interval among plural lines as even lines to lower the rotation speed of a polarizer. CONSTITUTION:Laser beams 3a, 3b emitted from semiconductor lasers 2a, 2b of laser oscillators 1a, 1b are subjected to modulation in response to an image signal, collimated into a thin and parallel beam by collimator lenses 4a, 4b, reflected by a polygon mirror 5 driven by a scanner motor 6 at high speed, scanned laterally toward the arrow, formed by an image forming lens 7, irradiated on a driven photosensitive body 10 to from a latent image. In this case, the laser beams 3a, 3b are irradiated on the photosensitive body 10 to form sequentially even order numbers of scanning beam lines L1 and L4, L3 and L6, L5 and L8, L7 and L10 and L9 and L12 thereby giving a space of even lines among plural beams. Thus, the excess space is not formed among scanning lines and accurate recording is attained. |
