PURPOSE:To reduce expenses for electrode manufacture as well as to facilitate a degree of spotting at the time of changing, by dividing a forming electrode into a part where it is consumptive and the other part, while forming these divided parts into being detachable and vice versa, and changing only these divided parts at the time of replacement. CONSTITUTION:An electrode is divided into a tip part 11 and a base part 12, for example, irregularities are formed in a fitting part, and these divided electrodes are locked to symmetrical end parts 1a and 1b, by way of example, by a screw or the like, while the base part 12 is locked to an electrode holder 2. Since consumption of the electrode 1 is almost proportionate to a machined variable, in order to perform finishing work after rough machining, at least a mold tip part 11 should be required to be changed. Therefore, this tip part 11 alone is plurally provided for, adjusting these irregularities with each other, and centering is carried out in precision, then it is changed whereby manufacturing cost of the mold and its replacing time are reducible.
