PURPOSE:To manufacture a variety of coils by only one taking-up machine by taking up a wire material by installing an attachment consisting of a taking-up drum and a collar part between the attachment installation plates installed onto the opposed surfaces of a pair of main shafts on a same axis line. CONSTITUTION:The main shafts 7 and 8 installed in the housings 5 and 6 are installed on a same axis line L. Said main shafts 7 and 8 can be slided in the direction of revolution and in the axial direction. Attachment installation plates 38 are installed onto the edge surfaces of the main shafts 7 and 8. A cap ring 41 is installed at the center part of the attachment installation plate 38 and a bobbin 110 consisting of a winding drum 110e and a collar part 110e' is pressed by an air cylinder 30, engaged with the shaft holes 110a on the both edge surfaces 110b and 110c of the taking-up bobbin 110, and said bobbin 110 is nipped. A wire material is taken up by integrally revolving the main shafts 7 and 8 and the bobbin 110. Therefore, a variety of coils can be manufactured by one taking-up machine only by replacing the bobbins 110.
