PURPOSE:To display a graph effectively on a small display part by reducing the graph to display it in case of normal graph display and taking out only a specific range of the graph in accordance with a key operation to expand and display it. CONSTITUTION:Numerical formula data inputted from a key input part 11 is operated by an arithmetic part 13, and a graph based on arithmetic results is generated by a graph generating part 19 and is stored in a picture memory 16. Normally, the graph stored in the memory 16 is reduced longitudinally and is displayed on a display part 22. When an enlarging key 11b is operated, the picture range designated by picture addresses A and B set to a picture address memory 17 is read out from the picture memory 16 and is enlarged and displayed on the display part 22. When scroll keys 11c and 11d are operated, picture addresses A and B stored in the memory 17 are updated by an address updating part 18, and the display picture on the display part 22 is scrolled.
