PURPOSE:To obtain the same surround effect as that when two speakers are used without causing deterioration in spread feeling by radiating a sound to a sound field from both sides of a speaker box only by driving one speaker. CONSTITUTION:The speaker 21 of a rear speaker system for sound field reproduction is put in a speaker shielded enclosure, and sound grooves 22a and 22b and a sound reflecting plate 24 are arranged in the shielded box 22. Further, speaker terminals 23a and 23b are provided on the rear surface of the system, a signal (R-phi (R-L)) is applied to the speaker terminal 23a from the rear signal output of a sound equipment and a signal (L-phi(R-L)) is applied to the speaker terminal 23b. Then the speaker 21 generates a sound (R-L-2phi(R-L)), which is radiated to the sound field from the flank of the shielded box 22 by the reflecting plate 24 and sound grooves 20a and 20b on the front of the speaker 21, so that the surround effect is improved by one speaker without spoiling the spread feeling. |
