PURPOSE:To remove the effect of a valve shocking noise eliminating troublesome column adjusting work, by switching a valve alone prior to analysis to subtract a valve shocking chromatogram detected from a chromatogram of a sample gas. CONSTITUTION:Valves 2 and 6 are switched according to an analysis sequence preset on a CPU 13 to introduce a fixed amount of a sample gas to a column 4, component gases separated with the column 4 are applied to a detector 8 and a raw chromatograph signal obtained is computed with a signal processing section B containing the CPU 13 to output a chromatogram. Then, prior to analysis, the valves 2 and 6 alone are switched according to the analysis sequence without the sampling of the sample gas and a valve shocking chromatograph detected is stored into a memory of the CPU 13. Thereafter, the valve shocking chromatogram stored in the memory is subtracted from a chromatogram obtained by analysis of the sample gas according to the analysis sequence to remove the valve shocking noise.
