PURPOSE:To obtain sufficient driving force even when a vehicle starts again after quick braking by releasing hydraulic oil staying in an actuator to a drain when the deceleration of the vehicle exceeds its set value and vehicle speed becomes below its set value. CONSTITUTION:On a communicating passage 88, there is provided a drain releasing valve 106, which directly releases hydraulic oil staying in a hydraulic cylinder 50 to a drain. When the deceleration of a vehicle exceeds its set value and vehicle speed becomes below its set value, the drain releasing valve 106 is operated so as to directly release the hydraulic oil staying in the hydraulic cylinder 50 to the drain. Therefore, even in the case of quick braking on a road surface with a low friction factor, the shift ratio of a continuously variable transmission becomes maximum, so that sufficient driving force can be obtained even when the vehicle starts again after quick braking. |
