PURPOSE:To minimize the test time needed for the change of a grammar and to improve the developing efficiency of the grammar by using a memory means to store the grammar that is used in the analyzing process of a test sentence. CONSTITUTION:A grammar application memory 6 stores a specific grammar that is used in the analyzing process of an analyzer 2 together with the success or failure of the analysis in response to a test sentence. A re-test sentence retrieving device 7 decides a test sentence for re-test from the information on the memory 6 when the contents of a grammar memory 4 are changed. Therefore when the grammar is changed with the correction, deletion, addition, etc., the test sentence related to the changed grammar can be recognized with reference to the memory 6. In such a way, the second analysis is possible with only the recognized test sentence when a test sentence is tested owing to its change. Thus the grammar developing efficiency is extremely improved.
