PURPOSE:To improve the yield of a material by forming a coil by an extrusion type coil forming machine and welding a contact part as well as bringing into contact the cut face of a coil cut at the position slightly longer than the winding in opposition. CONSTITUTION:A material 1 is fed to a coil forming machine to form a coil 8, which is cut in the length slight longer than one winding of a coil. Both cut faces of the cut coil 8 are brought into contact is opposition and an electrode is fixed as well close to both ends to execute butt welding with pressing it. By this method, the improvement in the yield and dimensional accuracy is realized and the cost can be reduced as well.
