PURPOSE:To make use of a waste material easily and at a low cost, by a method wherein a cutter pulverizing a molding material is provided between a material feed port and screw, in an injection molding machine provided with a screw and heating device plasticizing a molding material. CONSTITUTION:A cutter 8 is provided between a hopper 2 and screw 6 and they are constituted so that shafts of both of them become parallel with each other. A rotation of the screw 6 is transmitted to the cutter 8 and the cutter 8 is rotated by interlocking with the screw 6. When a waste material 11 is fed into a hopper 2 while rotating the screw 6 and cutter 8, the waste material 11 dropped through a vertical hole 4 is placed between the cutter 8 and screw 6, and pulverized finely forcibly through a rotation of both of them. The pulverized waste material is sent in front of a cylinder 3 through a groove of screw 6 and plasticized. As the waste material is pulverized by the cutter 8 and screw 6, it is plasticized easily. Even in the case of use of the waste material, the waste material can be used easily and at a low cost without providing a pulverizer separately. |
