The compensator includes optical transmission and receiving components (6,7) which are positioned separately to the cannon, and a reflection component (5) placed on the cannon itself. The latter component provides a reflection, dependent on the parallelity error, to the receiving component of radiation (11) emanating from the transmitter. The receiver is responsive to the reflection alteration caused by the error. The radiation is constituted by a small part of a laser light coming from a transmitter which is actuated when a distance measurer (4) is initiated, the transmitter acting as reference to the line ofsight. Alteration in the reflection enables the receiver (6) to produce a corresp. effect on a calculator (9) forming part of the aiming equipment, this effect being used as a parameter for the cannon aiming. |
