PURPOSE:To obtain the above film having excellent releasability and suitable as a releasing film for Japanese lacquer transfer, foil transfer, plate making, etc., by coating a polyester film with a specific coating liquid containing vinylidene chloride resin, etc., and drawing the coated film. CONSTITUTION:A coating liquid is produced by dissolving or dispersing (A) a vinylidene chloride resin containing preferably >=50mol.% of vinylidene chloride and having a molecular weight of preferably 50,000-300,000, (B) a polyether-modified polysiloxane expressed by formula I (R<1>-R<3> are methyl, etc.; R<4> is alkylene, etc.; POA is polymer of formula II) and (C) a polyester having anionic group and produced by copolymerizing a sulfoisophthalic acid, etc., to a dicarboxylic acid such as terephthalic acid and a glycol such as ethylene glycol in e.g. water. The coating liquid is applied to (D) a polyester film e.g. by a reverse roll coater and the film is drawn to obtain the objective film having a coating layer thickness of preferably 0.01-1mum. |
