PURPOSE:To facilitate formation of a color image by a magnetic recording printing system by coating the surface of a magnetic material with a resin containing a sublimable dye. CONSTITUTION:The solution of, for example, ethyl cellulose, containing the cyan sublimable dye dissolved in it is sprayed over the surface of a ferromagnetic material powder, such as ferrite powder, and said powder is granulated. Likewise, magenta particles, and yellow particles are granulated to prepare a color toner. A color image is formed by using a magnetic recording medium and a magnetic head, forming a latent image, attaching said color toner to the latent image part, overlaying paper, heating it from the reverse side, and transferring the sublimable dye to the paper. |
