PURPOSE:To obtain a bard decorative material having fine golden luster by a simple process with relatively inexpensive materials by incorporating Bi, Ba and Cu in a specified ratio. CONSTITUTION:This decorative material having golden luster is a metal oxide compsn. contg. 5-60mol% Bi, 20-90mol% Ba and 5-80mol% Cu. The oxide compsn. is obtd. by mixing the oxides, hydroxides, carbonates or nitrates of Bi, Ba and Cu in a prescribed ratio among the metals and heat-treating the mixture at 700-880 deg.C in an oxygen atmosphere. |
