PURPOSE:To obtain the subject product having high quality in high productivity by culturing lactobacillus to obtain a treatment liquid and decreasing the lactic acid concentration in said treatment liquid with a specific method prior to drying, thereby facilitating the drying of the treatment liquid and improving the survival ratio of lactobacillus. CONSTITUTION:Lactobacillus cells in a treatment liquid produced by the cultivation of lactobacillus is concentrated and the obtained concentrated treatment liquid containing lactobacillus cell is diluted to a lactic acid concentration of <=5wt.%. The objective product can be produced by drying the diluted treatment liquid. The concentration of the lactobacillus is carried out e.g., by the centrifugal separation of the treatment liquid. The concentrated treatment liquid is usually diluted with pure water. |
