摘要

An aqueous sulfur-dye composition comprises- (a) a dispersed sulfur-vat dye, and (b) a solubilised sulfur dye. The composition is applied to cellulosic fibres and blends by a continuous one-bath or two-bath pad-steam method with hydrosulfite/NaOH as reducing agent. This method avoids the use of sodium sulfide, and widens the range of shades obtainable, e.g. to include olive.
