PURPOSE:To obtain an image forming device whose range of write temperature is wide by making an organic low molecular material which is dispersed in a resin base material specified saturated carboxylic acid. CONSTITUTION:A reversible heat sensitive medium 3 is obtained by dispersing the organic low molecular material, which is the saturated carboxylic acid whose carbon number is 10-24 such as stearic acid, capric acid and lauric acid, in the resin base material. Then, it is heated to the melting point or more of the organic low molecular material by a heating recording element 22 to perform write. An exposure device performs exposure by keeping the temperature of the part where thermal write is performed as it is. Therefore, the image is formed on the reversible heat sensitive medium 3 by the difference of light transmissivity between the melted state(transparent state) and the solidified state(opaque state) of the organic low molecular material. Thus, the range of the thermal write temperature is extended from the non-melted state to the melted state. |
