PURPOSE:To handle a various kinds of input items and to perform natural guidance than ever in a multi-window system by performing decision for the depression validity/invalidity of a touch panel by touch panel depression effective range information based on the degree of superposition of a window. CONSTITUTION:The touch panel 11, a CRT display 12, a hardware control part 13, an arithmetic unit 14, a touch panel/window control part 15, a window display managing table 16, a screen buffer 17, a screen display data 18, and a touch panel depression effective range information table 19 are provided. A touch panel depression effective range in accordance with each window is set, and the decision for the depression validity/invalidity of the touch panel is performed by the touch panel depression effective range information based on the degree of superposition of the window. In such a way, the decision for the depression validity/invalidity of the touch panel in the multi-window system can be performed based on the degree of superposition of a window frame, which enables the natural guidance than ever to be performed. |
