The invention relates to a coupler for connecting a wheel speed transducer to a rotating wheel of a vehicle, for example an aeroplane. A cylindrical casing 12 has two orthogonal internal passages, one 14 of these passages communicating with a slot 20 made on an end face 16 of the casing, this slot 20 being arranged to receive, in sliding manner, a drive blade 22 coming from the wheel drive hub. The other passage receives, in a sliding manner, an element 36 carrying a hub 38 which extends from this element to interact with the rotating shaft 50 of the wheel speed detector. Various types of possible alignment defect are compensated for and corrected by virtue of the capacity of the blade 22 to slide in the slot 20 and the capacity of the element 36 to slide in its passage. The coupler substantially eliminates the play and it allows operation at high temperatures.
