摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To perform a smooth and quick turn matched with a will of a driver by setting an ideal differential condition between front and rear wheels based on a steering angle data and a car speed data, and controlling a front/rear wheel differentially adjusting mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A planet gear type differential gear 12, to which an output of an output shaft 8 of an automatic transmission 6 is transmitted, has a hydraulic multidisk clutch 28 for changing distribution of output torque of an engine between front and rear wheels by restricting differential action between front/ rear wheel side output parts. In a front/rear wheel torque distribution control device thus obtained, a steering angle data and a car speed data are detected by a controller 48 and also setting an ideal differential condition between the front/rear wheels based on these data to control a pressure control valve 56, that is, the multidisk clutch 28 so as to approach the ideal differential condition. In this way, adequate torque distribution between the front/rear wheels can be controlled reflecting a will of a driver.</p>
