<p>PURPOSE: To obtain the subject composite incapable of making an illegal change by breaking open the composite by bonding a cylindrical outer wall of a caplet containing a pharmaceutically active ingredient to the tubular inner walls of a slender capsule comprising two half capsules sealing the caplet. CONSTITUTION: This capsule-caplet composite comprises (i) a slender compressed caplet 12, containing one or more pharmaceutically active ingredients and having a cylindrical body part with an outer wall, a readily swallowable capsule in a slender form, sealing the caplet 12 therein and comprising two half capsules 31 and 32 (a cap) and a body) having each tubular inner wall and bonding parts for bonding the outer wall of the caplet 12 to the inner walls of both the half capsules 31 and 32 or (ii) the caplet 12 containing the one or more pharmaceutically active ingredients, a water vapor-permeable edible nontoxic layer completely wrapping the caplet 12 and hygroscopic bonding parts for absorbing the moisture from the layer, etc., and bonding and adapting the layer to the caplet surface. The composite is incapable of making an illegal change by breaking thereof open and can simply be produced at a low cost.</p> |
