PURPOSE: To provide a position generator for an accelerator pedal in an automobile being functionally reliable, capable of reducing constitutive members and capable of further reducing a manufacturing cost. CONSTITUTION: This position generator has an electric evaluating unit 16 having a constitutive member 10 elastically deformable at accelerator pedal operating time, having an elongation measuring streak piece 15 fixed to a deformable range of the constitutive member and capable of converting a resistance change in the elongation measuring streak piece 15 into an electric position signal by being connected to the elongation measuring streak piece 15. |
