PURPOSE:To make it possible to input information and to check an action from the outside by connecting an external interface circuit with a communication terminal for accessories arranged on a camera main body. CONSTITUTION:Ordinarily, a lens 13 is connected with the lens communication terminal of the camera 1 through seven kinds of signals. In this case, by connecting the external I/F circuit 16 with the lens communication terminal of the camera and connecting a tool 17 or a personal computer 18 with the external I/F circuit 16, writing/erasing of correction data for camera, or the exertion of a program set as a subroutine is performed by use of a lens communication line. Besides to this, an LIN terminal is also connected with a display IC, then, not only the data transfer to a display element, but also turning on an EI line functioning as the power supply of a CPU and an I/FIC are performed in the case that a communication demand is transferred from the outside. |
