A vehicle fuel feed member 1 connecting a fuel filler inlet to a fuel tank comprises a plastics feed pipe 4 and a plastics vent pipe 5 and, for discharging the electrostatic charges produced by passage of the fuel, an electrically conductive path is provided. The conductive path, grounded externally 21 close to the filler 2, may be formed, for example, by making either the vent pipe 5 or the food pipe from conductive plastic material, in particular, acetal resin containing conductive particles, or by coating, painting or co-extruding one of the pipes with a conductive layer. If the vent pipe lies within the filler pipe then the vent pipe provides the conductive path, eg on the outer surface. If, alternatively, the vent pipe lies outside the feed pipe (Figure 3) the feed pipe may provide the conductive path on its outer surface. <IMAGE>
