VIDEO PRINTER HAVING AUTOMATIC RETRIEVAL FUNCTION OF PICTURE

PURPOSE:To enable the printing of the required number of pictures together by storing the time code information and the printing condition for the retrieved video tape picture or making them to be stored on the video tape. CONSTITUTION:A print frame control part 4 reads the time code and the print setting condition from a print frame number storage part memory 41. The time code is transmitted as the retrieval condition to a VTR part 2 via a signal line 501 and the print setting condition is transmitted to an A/D conversion part 39 via a signal line 515. Then, the designated video tape picture is reproduced by instructing the VTR part 2 to perform the retrieval operation based on the time code information via a control line 500. This picture is inputted in an A/D conversion part 39 via a signal line 506 and is stored in a frame memory 31. By reading the picture data from the frame memory 31 like the normal printing operation, the automatic hard copy is prepared.
