PURPOSE:To obtain a red type color image good in hue and the recording material superior in storage stability before use by using a combination of a specified compound and a specified coupling component. CONSTITUTION:The recording layer formed on a support comprises the diazo compound of 4-substituted amino-2-alkoxybenzene-diazonium salt and the coupling component of a cyclohexane-1,3dione derivative substituted on the 4-position by an alkyl, aryl, or alkoxy group and having a total carbon number of >=15. It is preferred that this diazo compound has a melting point of 30-200 deg.C, especially, 50-150 deg.C, from the view point of handling, and it is used in an amount of 0.02-3g/m<2> and especially, 0.1-2g/m<2> from the viewpoint of color development density. |
